such as Bank Sand, Select Fill and Milled Asphalt
Masonry Sand
A finely crushed, washed, and screened sand with angular grains, designed for creating smooth, workable mortar for bricklaying and block walls, as well as a stable base for pavers and patios, providing durability and a uniform finish in construction and landscaping.
Torpedo Sand
A coarse, gravelly sand used heavily in construction and landscaping for its excellent drainage, compactability, and durability, serving as a base for pavers, patios, and driveways; an aggregate in concrete and asphalt; bedding for pipes and septic systems; and as a material for backfilling, playgrounds, and erosion control.
Screened Sand
Used for stable bases in construction (pavers, patios, foundations, backfill), landscaping (leveling, paths, erosion control, play areas, horse arenas), drainage (leach beds, wet areas), and masonry (mortar mix), providing good compaction and drainage for a smooth, durable finish.
Sharp Sand
With its coarse, angular grains, it's used for strong, durable construction mixes like concrete, mortar, and screeds, and in landscaping to improve drainage in heavy soils, create stable bases for patios and driveways, and top-dress lawns for better aeration and root health. It's favored for applications needing strength, stability, and good water drainage, preventing soil compaction and aiding moisture movement.

Milled asphalt
Milled Asphalt, also known as asphalt millings, is a recycled paving material created by grinding up existing asphalt from roads and parking lots. This reclaimed material offers the look and strength of traditional asphalt while providing a more affordable and environmentally friendly option for surfacing projects. The fine and coarse pieces blend together to create a material that compacts tightly, forming a firm and durable surface.
Once spread and compacted, milled asphalt naturally bonds as it warms in the sun, helping it settle into a smooth, stable layer over time. This makes it a popular choice for driveways, private roads, parking areas, and rural access paths where a solid surface is needed without the cost of full asphalt paving. At Cowboy Topsoil, our milled asphalt is screened for quality and consistency, providing a dependable material that delivers long-lasting performance and a clean, finished look for outdoor surfaces. ๐งโป๏ธ๐ค
