What Our Drivers CAN and CANNOT Do
To ensure every delivery is completed safely and efficiently, our drivers follow a few important guidelines:
-
Before entering any job site or private property, the driver must receive written authorization from the person in charge. Once the delivery ticket and disclaimer have been reviewed, understood, and signed, the driver may proceed under the direction of that authorized party.
-
For safety reasons, our drivers are instructed not to leave paved driveways, drive onto newly poured surfaces, or reverse into areas where trees, buildings, or other structures may be at risk.
-
Materials will never be dumped on a public street without specific written instructions, proper traffic control, and approval from the appropriate parties.
-
All drivers are expected to maintain a professional appearance by remaining fully clothed when stepping out of their truck… although every now and then, someone may forget and step out half-naked — our apologies in advance.
- To keep morale high, we encourage drivers to sing or hum any classic country or western song written before 1997 while making deliveries.
- And finally, all drivers are to remain serious at all times, as Cowboy Trucking Inc. has absolutely no sense of humor that we are aware of.
